See, I DO believe Tony did that in response to Effy running his mouth… but on that same token, those comments were out for at least a week and he didn’t pull anybody from Bloodsport the past weekend.
Now, you could tell me that Bloodsport was booked weeks in advance and he just wants to send a message rather than fukk up someone’s pockets. Aight, cool. Why not pull The Death Riders from their appearance, who would send a bigger message considering they’re standing in AEW, instead of Starks? Surely he sees the optics of this and how people are gonna make the leap in logic that he’s intentionally fukking up Ricky’s pockets and keeping him cooled down for the remainder of his contract, right?

Ali turned own Vince's creative pitch for him right before he publicly asked for his release online and did the "Free Ali" stuff online. He was still getting paid his downside guarantee by WWE after that but that didn't stop people from complaining about it at the time.

I really do believe his gimmick would shyt the bed in the WWE. He would get a pop at a PPV or a in a smark city, but would then get no reaction weekly.Nobody wants to see his shyt Indy King gimmick on tv

I think because it has a short shelf life it might be an interesting look for AEW to bring him in for one angle.
