Ricky was like at least 50 yards away when he got hit with the kill shot and a pellet formation that tight is impossible.

Ricky got his test score back faster than anyone else ever got an SAT score.
He wasn’t too bright. He thinks Ferris and his crew are no threat. They already have pulled a shotgun on Tre. Ferris has a rep for “finding an excuse to shoot somebody”, according to Regina king.
Just the previous night, Ricky and his friends got into an altercation with Ferris and those bloods, which resulted in Doughboy pulling out his gun and Ferris unloading a fully automatic assault weapon in the air.
Ricky’s conclusion: oh they’re not a threat at all, they’re not going to do anything
They were from a Crip set, I think rolling 60s. I got the impression that Monster and Dookie were the active, violent ones who put in work for the set. Ricky and Tre just lived in the neighborhood.
Ferris and his crew were obviously bloodsever, supposedly Crenshaw Mafia Bloods. Their shooter even calls Dough and them “crabs” after they get into it on Crenshaw
Ever notice that in the beginning, Furious drives a red Volkswagen. Later on, Trey drives a blue Volkswagen. I’m assuming Trey took over his dad’s car and painted it because of the neighborhood he lived in.
