Ok, as far as him taking a piss and the lottery tickets, Ricky obviously didn't think they was gonna shoot, he probably thought they was just gonna try jump them. When Tre was saying they should stick together Ricky was playing it down, he even said "they ain't gonna do nothing, they just showing out n shyt". so when they pulled up he probably thought if he ran he would be alright, especially since he was already so far from their car.

As far as the bullet and the range, you gotta remember, the shot through the chest was the second shot. the first shot hit Ricky on the leg. now it's possible the shooter was aiming at his head and the bullet fell because of the range, giving the shooter a chance to judge the distance, aim a little higher to make up for the range and catch Ricky with the second shot. We don't know if the shooter was aiming directly at Ricky or if he had adjusted his aim. It's not impossible. Bullets don't disappear after a certain distance, they fall. If the shooter was taking that into account it is possible that he could hit Ricky and the fact that he shot twice supports this.

And had the nerve to stain his momma's couch...

she had plastic on the couches.

But yea in retrospect this scene was terrible like others had said Ricky was already a good 30 yards away, then you have to factor in once the slow motion dropped he had already taken about 10 steps then you have to figure in Rickys 4.3 40 time speed cause you have to be able to atleast run a 4.6 to even get considered for a scholly @ USC and then let's be real hood shooters are not snipers that dude was surgical from that range.

:birdman: @ Ricky ruining USC's chances at winning a natti that year

It really depends on what the shooter was working with. I'm inclined to agree that Ricky should still be alive. Wounded maybe, but still alive.

First of all the shotty was a sawed-off, so no choke. Secondly, I've shot shotguns many times, and assuming the shooter had the average 00 buckshot, Ricky should be alive. If I recall correctly the average spread of buckshot is about 1 inch per yard. At 25 yards with my Remmington 870(far superior to what the shooter had) the spread is about two feet. At 50 yards you're shyt out of luck.

Rewatching that scene, the distance was far too big for an effective pattern spread. That means that Ricky might have been hit, but he would have been hit with probably just one pellet, which would have already lost speed and kinetic energy. It wouldn't be enough to cause that big ass hole in Ricky's torso.

I always said Ricky shoulda just laid on the ground the minute the car rolled up. He would have only been shot in the feet that way

If ANYbody should be alive it's Keisha from New Jack City

"BASTARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD!!"

*jumps out of cover and starts bucking for no damn reason*

:dwillhuh:

I watch that scene and bust out laughing everytime. Don't know why she thought that was a good idea.

She ran right into the middle of the gunfight and then 0.2 seconds later ate multiple bullets

We aint talkin bout bullets...we talkin bout shells. And Buckshot does indeed get less effective after a certain distance. If little ass Jimmie (OG Bobby Johnson's son) can survive that shyt...Ricky def should be alive.
