Good post.. I've been hearing stories about the nightmares McDonald's franchisees have been going through and how having one isn't really the move anymore. You have to do what the headquarters say no matter what. Things like when they started up the all day breakfast- each store had to buy new and special equipment out of their own pockets just for the all day breakfast. Also a ton of employees quit soon as it started cause it was too much of a pain to do. And the franchise owners scream out bloody murder and hate when the company rolls out a dollar special like 2 for $4 or some shyt like that cause it damn near kills their individual profits. Them trying to make coffee drinks to compete with Starbucks, etc. McDonalds really doesn't know what it wants to be these days and the franchise owners have to deal with all that turmoil out of their pockets. take it a Wing Stop is the better move for owning a franchise.@Insensitive
No doubt. Even with the steps on how to enter the game, capital is still very necessary. Gotta pay to play. Even if you have the money everything is still a risk and profit is only theoretical until it actually happens. Over the past few years I’ve been trying to get my feet wet with stocks, restaurant franchise applications, and wholesaling real estate. Even with a strong idea of what I’m doing, firm capital, and a few reliable partners shyt is still expensive and time consuming lol. Add to that, a global pandemic to disrupt forward progress. Everybody definitely isn’t cut out for this.
