Bottom line is the nikka put handcuffs on killers and drug dealers daily and walked them shackled to their cell. He also performed cavity searches daily and was ashamed of it so he lied to the general public. Nobody in their right mind thought Dre was a gangster, even back then. Cube's little social commentary on songs like "Dopeman" and "fukk The Police" was the only thing keeping NWA somewhat grounded in reality....as "hood reporters" or whatever....after he left, "efil4zaggin" was a straight up violent cartoon that nobody took seriously. Their studio gangsterism became especially obvious after those Dre pic popped up.

Imagine that NWA interview stretched out over 6 years. That's Rick Ross.
