Ask yourself....in what would does Bruno Mars have 50mil in CREDIT from any casino? It doesn't make sense. If you wanted to tell me Michael Jordan has 50mil in credit I'd maybe believe you. At least he has the long standing financial wealth to convince a casino to loan him money/credit. But Bruno Mars? The guy who didn't have big money until he started doing the Vegas residency? No.

Exactly.

Dude is an artist signed to a giant company with people who do the same work as him. He’s an earner but not enough for the kind of credit that couple build a mid tier housing complex.

Casino is not playing with the house’s money by letting him play with their money.

MGM cleaning up the mess. He's not the only one btw

LOL if you believe statements

Nothing is ever what it is, it's always the opposite of what is said

once it comes the entertainment or news

This here.

Dude is probably in wild debt with them, but it's a bad look for them for that to be publicly stated. So they're going to rush to quash that with a bullsh*t statement, so they don’t lose celeb gamblers along the way. Bruno Mars has always been accused of having a drug and gambling problem. MGM can't come out and say they helped him to make it worse.

So this is damage control for them, not dude. I believe he owes them millions, but they're never going to be honest about that and then expect more public figures to feel good about gambling with them, and not having their business put out there too. It's a privacy thing.

Barkley wasn't working for them...
Understood. But working for them or not, $50 million is a huge debt. Insurmountable for most people even in entertainment. I just can't see a casino allow that type of negligence without assurances. Assurances would have a clear paper trail. ( Liens on homes, etc.) Maybe it's true, but I need more to buy into this.

That isn't much different from many recording contracts. Cats made jokes about a 360 deal with a casino but this is not outside the parameters of Industry Rule #4080.

He wanted to at the tables. Throwing the dice with a baddy on his arm cheering for him. Drunk.

sources were cappin, MGM themselves shot him bail. CO gotta hold that L

Mgm paying him 60-90 mil a year. Comping living expenses, food, God knows what else.

They were trying to spin the story as if him making 1.5 mil a night was a bad thing on Twitter :mjlol:

......mutual respect? That sounds like pimp talk.

I'm inclined to believe the truth is somewhere in the middle. He's probably got a crazy gambling tab with them, but just not $50 million.

Plus, even if it was true, the MGM are going to deny it because them allowing someone to rack up that level of debt wouldn't be a good look for them neither.

Stop taking a corporations press release (literal PR) as gospel like they don't have their own agendas at play here. There's no smoke without fire.
