I dont think it was the label though, nobody had a gun to his hed saying record this...its good he realized cos chasing past successes leads to failure
Ross always dropped da smooth tracks nikkas just overlooked em cause he dropped trap records....

For every 9 piece or Summers Mine he dropped Mafia Music II or Tears of Joy or Bury Me A G/Hold Me Back he dropped 10 Jesus Pieces/Amsterdam

Ross da most versatile in da game....

Ross is an example of why I hate records and them stifling creativity.

We could be EATING off these joints forever had it not been for labels chasing the next BMF etc
Waaaait a minute on this one. Ross chose sooo many producers. I think he felt the pressure of BMF and he felt like he had to follow the same sound over n over, which is why that sound also spilled over to Triple C's material as well. And just our luck, you heard that on a lot of Self Made series as well. So a lot of people had to get cut. Including Bink,Alchemist. But I think it is important to understand Ross is a type of Dude to pull up in the studio and record 5 songs a night. That's what his MMG label mates said.
How do you choose if everyone is going to forget the very next week what was recorded including Ross? I bet you he just chooses tracks by walking in the vault pulling up sessions.... at random just blindly. :ohhh:

its simple ross a fan of different type of rap....

he a mixture of old Hov, Nas mafioso rap, da trap music and backpack rap (the songs hes done with Wiz, Spitta and Lupe)...

thats what make him great bro really is top 10 DOA.....nikkas gone look back and realize all da firee shyt he dropped since Trilla ...port of miami cool but I felt like Trilla he stepped it up bar wise...

I always checked for the smooth tracks, thats him at his best, im glad he went this route. Just there was a point where I thought he was going overboard with trynna chase that bmf type trap hit. Still good energy music but when he is rapping rapping its a whole nother level
