Steve Kim reported that the average ticket price for Canelo/trout was $77, so them 40,000 tickets only brought in $3million. Canelos last 2 headline fights at the MGM (angulo + lara) took in between 2.5-3million at the gate.

I mean you can poke at the low number (by Floyd standards)but at the end of the day, everything floyd said regarding being a bigger draw than pacquaio and having all the ppv records still applies

2.2 territory to 700k plus is a fall off but no pacquaio hasn't even touched 2.2 in his life

And his next ppv will b lucky to hit 100 k



Just seems like people are lookin for any thing to give Floyd a L cause he can't get one in the ring

this...he has a year left and even if the fight with pac is made even the experts know he still goin out undefeated so the salt is at 1000...the shift in how floyd is covered in the media is only going to get worse.

PPVs number only come up when you compare Floyd's to other fighters

which you idiots won't do, because it's not debatable

The fact these are considerable terrible numbers for Floyd shows how successful he is and people are just mad at the money

Mods don't close threads just for the hell of it...PPV numbers are obviously an issue since all boxing reporters are talking about them, and Floyd JUST dissed Manny about PPV numbers yesterday.
