Old? This is one of the only shows to actually explore nihilsm, concepts of insignificance in humanity, multiverse, existentialism, human psychology, and even dynamics of relationships and the co-dependance they can create all through comedy.

Theres alot to talk about with rick and morty, and unless you're kind of a regular dude who believes in god, and gives every other aspect of life little thought...then you should "get" or atleast understand what this show is doing. And what makes it great.

When you sum it up as "demonic cac humor" you sound like one of those old one dimensional black people that will only laugh at """black humor""".

In short, people who watched enough episodes of that show and dont get it, show me how smart they are...

Rick and Morty is.one of then smartest shows on TV bar none. If all you get from it are rape jokes and excessive violence then thats all on you but.there is clearly so.much more going on. I used to check the show casually but That Unity episode was amazing on so many levels and made me a fan.

Also I won't tolerate Sealab slander, show was ahead of its time.

It started out as a parody of Back To The Future....Origonally Doc and Marty, it's supposed to be a convoluted mind fukk of a show. I won't call people who don't "get it" stupid but it appeals to the same type of people that loved the movie they were based on. nikkas clamoring for c00ny-tunes and care bears are not the target audience.
