This thread is full of examples of the reason blacks can't progress as fast as we should be able to. Everybody looking for reasons to bring another man down a peg for no reason except to be seen as if they're more knowledgeable and "aware" than the next man.

I don't get it. How do people claim to want the best for the black community, but refuse to give prominent black figures the initial benefit of the doubt. We question people who seem to have good intentions and at the same time praise those who may be detrimental to the community as being "real".

This is exactly why i say the "black community" and black individuals aren't representatives of me, personally.
At this point there isn't really a "community" for me to comfortably identify with. Everybody is either a "c00n" or a "militant." And if you're not then you're calling someone a c00n or a militant.
