Richard Sherman or not, don't really see a problem with anything in that blog
-Not every black person in America feels like they have been oppressed. That is okay. It doesn't mean that oppression doesn't exist. Some people are fortunate to be a position where this is not their experience.
-We are who we want to be. Why not? My guess is that the a large majority if not everyone who's accomplished something started out feeling that way, or flipped a switch to feel that way. Obama, Will Smith, Oprah. Ben Carson probably woke up one day and thought it himself, otherwise he wouldn't be a brain surgeon, or running for president as a republican of all things.
-The truth of the matter is that yes, racism and ignorance exist. Always have. What then? Do they prevent us from working hard? Does it mean we shouldn't take responsibility for our actions?
