No one cares what Richard Dawkins thinks besides demons. Sad he would call out religion before all the filth thats actually corrupting our youth in 2013. It obviously isnt religion.

but back on thread topic. Organized Religion like many human organizations gets corrupt but unlike say a government which can change overnight it takes religion much longer so I think it does more harm then good.

A religion of some kind will always exist friend. Its just finding one that you are comfortable with. Any ideology no matter how idealistic, in the hands of demons can become corrupt. The teachings of Christ are so pure
yet demonic individuals have managed to use them to do demonic things. There is no ideology that this cannot happen to. This is why many forms of government look better on paper and in books then they do applied by human beings. Its so demonic, friend.

True but when a religious organizations becomes corrupt it is much harder to change it and there is alot more blood shed and more dividing lines between people (Jews vs Christans, Protestant Reformation, Crusades etc......)
Jesus with all his teachings of peace draws a hard line on what happens to those who don't believe in him and people in organized religion use that to abuse others when they gain power. Because of the corrupting nature of power and because they think they get this power from god the abuse is worse then say someone who is backed by army. Any way things like faith should be a private thing and the massive religious institutions should scale down or dissolve altogether.

Imagine a scientific civilization. What do you think the religion of this type of society will be. Personally i think its a combination of eugenics and elitism. People who can afford to enhance their dna ruling over the poor individuals who cannot. Elites always want that separation between haves and have nots. That separation with humanity seems to come down to capital and power. If human beings got to a point where we were able to produce food out of thin air, build homes ourselves with a mastery of molecules from our finger tips and have powers like silver surfer, you think that sort of power, if it could be bestowed upon someone, would be given or affordable to people in slums. Things change, but they stay the same. Its so demonic, friend.

Because even within religion people have been playing the same game you described (Kings and lords were hand picked by god ignoring how they came to power)
