Exact same thing happen to baseball... It's a big reason American soccer hasn't taken off as projected too, you need a lot of money for your kid to get all the access and amenities that others get. Rich people have a big advantage in life, and even in youth sports (this is the same for golf, lacrosse, and hockey too, the amount of money to do the AAU/Premier lifestyle is enormous)

It was inevitable. The NBA the only major basketball league so after a few generations of players come in and figure the game out and retain their wealth it gets easier and easier to raise the kids up to that standard. I agree with the other tweet, America DESPERATELY needs another big basketball league and more support for minor leagues but at this point it wont ever happen and all well have is the NBA and a bunch of neckbeards screaming at people about how much richer theses guys are than everyone in comment sections

What happened to Europeans are taking over the NBA? America is in trouble, AAU culture, no fundamentals, etc…

Luka failed in the Finals so I guess it’s back to the drawing board. :lolbron:

Now the new narrative is “what happened to the trench babies?” Even though those trench babies are literally the AAU culture that you claim is killing American basketball.

Oh, and isn’t Kobe one of your GOATs? Cuz he was a rich kid with an ex-NBA player dad.

Been a tough year for ‘90s nikkas.
