My family has property all over East Africa (Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia) so I've had the opportunity to travel to all those places in the last several years.

Well ive read of Ancient Ethiopia has ties to Yemen from the days when Queen Sheba ruled both but from my understanding Ethiopians in general don't consider themselves arabs...Regardless those migrant women were in Saudi Arabia for work to help take care of their family not cause they considered themselves arabsThe subhman Saudis took advantage,tortured, and violated in those poor women in the most cruel manner imaginable cause they were poor and vulnerable African women they knew no one would stand up for..I hope all the sand cacs whom degraded and abused those girls end up on the next ISIS video..With such evil and cruelty toward the most vulnerable in the world so widespread in the A-rab world it's no wonder it seems that region is cursed with terrorism and war.

But I get what u mean tho. You have to understand that most older gen Habeshas have this wierd racial/identity compex as result of being taught these anceint myths as kids which describes our ancestors as these pseudo cushytic-arab looking racially ambiguous people who were descendants of Jews (solomonic myth n all), and as a result they feel closer to the outside world because of those percieved genetic and cultural links, hence theyve got that attiude towards other Africans. But I only notice this in the older habeshas. Most younger habeshs dont care about ethnic superiority myths anymore. And most are comfortable with their black identity

Aspects of,the myths are probably true tho, but I dont believe we are descendants of jews as our languages is more closer to ancient sabaean (Yemen). Highlanders do show some level of semitc admixture although we are still mostly cushytic. We are extremly diverse now, as a result of absorbing cushytic people like the agaw community for hundreds of years, a majority of us are brown skin, even if we dont want to admit it. We do have alot of selfhate I think. This manifests especially in colourism in our community.
