Is there a better alternative on that roster?

I wanna see Rex do good because of his Raven roots, but I just don't see how Tebow or McElroy is better than Sanchez. Now that the season is over I can see them going to McElroy just to see what they have in him. I'm not saying Sanchez is a good QB by any means, dude is awful, but at least he's had a string of good games in the past.

Tebow is a better alternative simply because he limits turnovers. He is also a good leader as he gets the entire team fired up. Nobody is running out there giving extra effort for Sanchez.

Tebow will keep you in the game long enough so that if you have a good break you can win the game. Sanchez is taking the win out of question as soon as he steps on the field.

Unnamed Broncos agree with Jets: Tim Tebow not an NFL quarterback

http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/12/03/broncos-tim-tebow-jets/1742943/

Bronco 1. "When Tim was here we saw the issues up close. The Jets didn't, and now they are seeing the problems, too. "I feel really, really bad for Tim. He's a good person, just not an NFL quarterback."

Bronco 2: "This year we won the division with four games left. That's all Peyton Manning. If Tebow was here, we'd still be squeaking out wins, or losing games we shouldn't be losing. The division would be coming down to the last game.
"I've been following Tim in New York and I feel horrible for him. Everyone here, I think, wants the best for him. He's a good guy. But you can't turn Tim into something he's not, and he's not really an NFL quarterback. He's more of a gimmick player."

I said it from DAY ONE that John Elway was so smart in getting rid of Tebow. He saw the writing on the wall.

And Brian Dawkins fukking loved the guy and was a big advocate for him.

With every player there are some guys who like him and some guys who don't.

Meanwhile...there were reports LAST SEASON that the defense was upset that they weren't getting any credit. And you're forgetting Benn's comments.

Had Tebow continued to start for the Broncos this season he would have torn apart that locker room.

Elway won....he saw it.

Yeah he isnt that good, but he is the better option than Sanchez at this point. You can push Tebow out there with garbage and you can run the ball and limit turnovers. With Sanchez you need good blocking, a good running back, great receivers, etc..... The Jets dont have any of that shyt.

I saw people getting fired up and rallying behind Tebow last season. You can ignore it if you choose but we know what we saw. The damn coach is ignoring Sanchez out there man!

This isnt about Tebow and Peyton Manning, its about Tebow and Sanchez. Tebow is the better option for the Jets right now.

Dog...are we really arguing over two piss poor fringe NFL qbs?

Tebow isn't a better option because we don't even have the PERSONNEL to win with him. :damn:

What the hell????

Who is Willis McGhee for the Jets? Where is the mobile zone blocking offensive line for the Jets? The Jets don't even have an Eric Decker!!!

He'd be even WORSE playing for the Jets. You're just saying hes better, not assessing his style and the pieces that would make him work.

Yeah, and his alternative was Peyton Manning.

Let his alternative have been Brady Quinn and see if it's the same

Dawkins loving him has nothing to do with other players that were offended.

Von Miller mocking Tebow said it all.

Tim Tebow wouldnt have thrown all those picks and lost fumbles like Sanchez.

You acting like Willis McGahee was doing shyt BEFORE Tebow took over. He was playing like shyt with Orton back there. He needs to thank Tebow for revitalizing his career.

Tim Tebow wouldn't have thrown that TD either.

Again....answer my questions.

McGhee has a track record of being a good runner. He was on his way to another 1,000 yard season this year until he got hurt. McGahee is more responsible for revitalizing his career than Tebow is.

For the record, Tebow is hard to dislike as a person.

Dawkins said Tebow prayed over his neck when he was rehabbing to come back.

He's genuinely a good dude.

Our future QB should not be on the roster.

McElroy is not the answer. Chad Pennington 2.0 with an even weaker arm. He will fail too
