I get a kick watching everyone shyt talk WCW and all the bs politics that went on there like they don’t experience the exact same thing now.

and while I’m not ridin for him like da king, the nerve of them to go in on russo when it’s clear he played a huge part in what they produced creatively. meanwhile the WWE devolved into arguably the worst wrestling show of all time.

Because Russo said he made Rock, then promptly went to WCW and told Booker T to wear Versace shirts. Amongst other shyt shows. From what we’ve seen, he had about a year of material copying ECW, Springer and South Park, and nothing else after that.

The problem now is that no one will check Vince's bullshyt. I think the reason they worked so well together was because they had nothing to lose. WCW was the king and the WWE was facing bankruptcy, Russo himself doesn't even take all the credit for the success. He said plenty of times that SCSA & Rock deserve the credit for their success.

At the time he went to WCW, Russo was claiming the credit for the Attitude Era. I remember Bischoff was saying either Vince was a dumbass for letting the person responsible for his success go to WCW, or Russo was selling a bill of goods.
