Yes, but his honor and his word is what made him who he was
That's his greatest trait and character flaw at the same time
It's easy to see why he made certain decisions but it's still frustrating to watch

Yea I been rewatching too, along with most others I know anticipating the finale.
It's still amazing how great Season 4 is from beginning to end.
Season 5 isn't as awful as I remembered it. Still the worst of the series, but not "fast forward through the bullshyt" bad.

On my rewatch I ended up ranking 5 over 7. The atrocious story telling and down right ridiculous travel times of season 7 were too much to ignore for me.Season 5 so wack that I straight up binge watched from season 1. When I got to season 5, I lost interest. Bare in mind I've seen it plenty of times but just going thru it to refresh my memory before the new season drops.

Speaking of little shyt I missed before, the convo early in season 4 where they tell Bran if he spends to much time warging he stops becoming Bran and forgets is own experiences was one of those small nuggets dropped early that comes in to play later on.

I thought of that while it was happening. Like each Sunday was like an event, cant miss TV.....but i just know its not gonna feel the same when I get there in a few weeks. For as much shyt 5 got, it was
A. Coming off arguable the best season.
B. Half the episodes leaked online before it aired on tv.
C.and honestly put Ramsey into full on psychopath mode, setting up a very good season 6.

Second episode of season 6, bran is having his 3 eyed raven flashback to see his father and his uncle (benjin) spare as kids. Ned knocks Benjin to the ground and says “keep your shield up or Ill ring your head like a bell” same thing Jon saysto someone on the nights watch when training in season 2...doesnt mean much to the overall plot, but thought it was dope.
I keep having dreams that I'm watching the new season then I wake up and still weeks away
