I loved this film from the visuals to the story. Its not perfect but still great. I love Sci-Fi films though, so im biased.

maybe she was already pregnant and the black shyt in the dude she fukked turned the baby into the squid, just like the black shyt turned those worms in the cave into the alien snake.

My theory without reading anything anyone has posted:

The aliens were constructing humans to be a soldier race and found them too flawed to work...so they constructed the other aliens as a more perfect weapon which of course backfired in the worst way possible. Idk...I haven't really put much thought into it tbh...just throwing something out there.

There's no Director's cut

They have 37 mins of deleted scenes on the bluray tho. I think ive seen the scenes to DL on torrents somewhere.
