im being for real...i know it is billed as a prequel to alien...im saying storylines in prometheus are very similar to other characters in the alien franchise...and weyland askn an engineer to prolong his life is the exact same as the replicant [in blade runner] askn tyrell to give him more time to be alive...

If you didn't like this movie and are STILL trying to convince people it sucks 4 months later

I didn't get why anyone loved Cabin in the Woods and said so at the time, but 4 months later and I have basically forgotten about it and could care less if people like it. I'm definitely not up in the thread telling people it sucked for months on end

Fred come on, you know there are many brehs here who really enjoyed the movie. You act like it is universally agreed on that it was trash. It wasn't perfect but we rarely get hardcore scifi flicks these days and I love Ridley Scott's direction and visual style. I see even greater potential in a sequel. I definitely would like them to hire new writers though. Some of the script was good but some was really stupid. All of my real life friends really enjoyed it too, which was something I wouldn't necessarily expect because I'm one of the few movie heads I know.

You can enjoy something without thinking it's good. I have no beef with people who like this movie. My main beef is with people who try to explain the plot, on some "Lost" shyt. Which is funny because Damon Lindelof wrote it. It's nonsense, just like "Lost". I have no fukking idea how that guy is still getting work.

from what it seems, lindolf side tracked the entire purpose of the movie...but it wasn't "OMG HORRIBLE"

now that scene with the vagina snakeand the dumb cac tryna pet it and her running after having an abortion and no one being told about it was forced and it all seemed rushed but that shyt visual was still


to me it's a 6 out of 10 and hopefully they make a sequel thats more solid writing wise

This release is dope. This movie is no more flawed than any other film, IMO.

She was constantly doubling over in pain and she was shooting herself up with painkillers.

As far as the mutated worm, in one of the deleted scenes, Millburn did the same but with one much smaller.
