The only real disqualifying factor woudl be lack of an album.

but you can't put limitations on these sorta things....that's ultimately what the voter is deciding upon anyway

by saying they NEED an album that year, you cannot vote for Snoop in 1995 for example

yep absolutely....and he'd probably be a contender for that year given how good 'his' album was and how much of a contributor he was

if it's a Wu album....maybe the standout member of that album

but ultimately solo artists will get the benefit of the doubt in most cases

in 1994 we could need up to 10-15 but for 1985, 5 will suffice
