Yea, I like the way Alex Smith is progressing. If you think about we could easily average 24-30 points a game against almost any D in the league. His accuracy is improved and he seems to be leading this offense instead of being led by Harbaugh. What's scary is that he can only get better. He already has 25% of the TD's he had last year in 2 games. This is also because we have better receivers and they deserve credit too.

On a side note, is it me or is Iupati regressing? and Leonard Davis is responsible for both sacks on Alex Smith


Also Culliver is quickly becoming the best corner on our team, he did an excellent job against Megatron. Even with the bad PI call.

Kendall Hunter is giving Frank Gore years of his life back.

Glad you with me on Culli, I was high on dude from day one. I got a feeling he could be a top flight corner, his size and ability and attitude is perfect for the position nowadays.

People don't want to hear that about Alex man, he`ll forever be "Alex Smith". You watch him now and you think, fukk this kid has figured it out. He is the captain of the ship and steers it to perfection. The ship isn't built for 400 yard passing games, because it doesn't need to be.

You look at us 2 weeks in and we're averaging. 28.5 ppg and we played 2 playoff teams. And it's not an aberration, I think this team will finish in the high 20's in ppg, coupled with this defense it makes us very dangerous

The one thing is, our strength outweighs theirs, and our ground game counters their secondary imo and their run d doesnt scare me at all.

Oh trust me, I`m positive we`ll win, it just might be more of a grind and most suspenseful

Harbaugh isn't gonna let these guys start hyping themselves like that and will have them focused.

I like what I see from our offense and line so far but truth is while we did play two playoff teams, we played two with crap D, and most importantly pretty crap run D .

We haven’t really faced adversities of something not working this season yet on offense. And if a team shuts down our run game, I want to see if we can work through it.

Vikings are a pretty good test for us in that regard. We should win, but it won’t be as easy on offense. On defense I can’t see us have many problems, the only real threat to us is Percy Harvin IMO.
He can catch our D offguard with some reverse/outside screen shyt.

I think Moss wants a ring and that is all honestly.

But I believe he`s gonna have one of them signature games at some point where everyone says "Damn that was a good pickup"

He's an ancillary piece, and he will definitely come in handy in them closer game where we need big plays/ Whether it be freeing up the other guys or making the plays himself

I agree with you for the most part of how they were 2 good teams, but 2 poor defensive units.

This is why I say our best test to date we`ll be NYJ in week 4

It's not just that but it's how we've won these fist 2 games, very even-handedly. We didn't blow either team out the water but everyone who watches us say we dominate. We run well, but not insane. We pass conservatively yet effectively. Our blocking is good but not great. Our Special teams well, Andy Lee and Akers da Gawd

but the balance is almost fukking zen-like. It's scary to face a team that could tip it.

Just a machine out there playing well, Hunter threw a glitch in the matrix with that fumble though.

The leading all season thing has been cool too, never had a feeling the games weren't ours once points went on the board.

For me it's not even that dominate feeling, it's more of just security. Like we will win because we can pull shyt out and wont fukk up and kill ourselves.
