there was espn article on VD and how he says they still calling his number its just him getting covered...which proves my point :manny:

with VD and crabs we have two legit options. I wish ham wasnt injured tho cuz we need that third option badly imo.

but yea Im pretty nervous as well, which is usually not good for the Niners. I dont quite understand why is everyone on our jock, like we are a favorite of some sort. nikkas are dumb reactionary. seattle matched up better with ATL and their D didnt really hold up. our secondary is much worse than theirs too.

That's what I always thought, he's not getting the ball because teams are dedicating more coverage to him and in this offense the QB's do not force passes.

VD still gets some looks, look at the GB game he had that one catch but it was a humongous catch to swing the game really in our favor

If anything walker will get those passes but will he catch it?

And this is what makes me nervous about Delanie Walker, every pass to him is like a 50/50 ball, he can catch and make a huge play or he can bobble it and it cost us the game (like he did in St. Louis). I actually expect the Falcons to crowd the box, they have better 'spies' than Green Bay, who can chase down Kaep if need be (or cut short his scrambling) but in doing so I think that Crabtree and perhaps Moss can have some big plays. Kaepernick spreads out the defense very well and he's a capable thrower from within and rolling out the pocket. But yea, my bigger concern is on defense, we gotta keep Atlanta one dimensional because if they run the ball as well as they did against Seattle, Matt Ryan will cook us on playaction and the those quick passes to Tony Gonzalez who is their X-Factor on Offense imo.

I was gonna mention him in my post but dude is about as unclutch as it gets. That's why I kinda think kaep would take off and run unless delanie is wide open... And to think, he was a wide receiver converted to tight end.

Slowest week ever. TBH I was much more nervous about the Giants game last season.

It wont hit me until I pull up at the ga dome. I know they're a good team but they only beat 3 teams with a winning record before seattle including denver in the second game of the season, which was a completely diff team from the one that made the playoffs. Also they beat the giants adter they completely fell apart. They started out 8-0 only to end the second half of the season 5-3. They also beat a seattle team that's struggled on the road all season. so that's the main reason I feel confident.

I felt much more confident against GB. the only time I even felt a worry was when kaep threw that pick six.

just a combination of things here. them playing zone, us winning two games in the row (dreaded third game L), loud dome, crazy good hands receivers that turn shytty throws into big gains

I do think best bet for us to win on D is bottle up the run early and make them one dimensional

They actually are pretty one dimensional. Last week was an aberration bc they are like 29th in rushing I think.

I really wasn't confident vs. GB, I feel a lot more confident going into this game.

Just because we have stopped this type of offense so many times and their defense/ST puts no fear into me.

I know, but rodgers could get some screens/outside runs. mike nolan DOES know what our weaknesses are there.

in general I agree but if they get some shyt going in the run game (turner was pretty good last week even tho seattles run d is kinda wack) that wont be very great for us

Nolan doesn't know shyt about us at this point though.

Look how much they struggled with Cam, that should be a good indication of how well he gameplans for a QB with legs.
