ATL's best pass rusher was injured and didn't play for the most of the game. The Falcons' version of Chris Clemons was out today.

cam had some really good games vs atl this year

And they said the same thing about Wilson for today too. Atlanta has a problem tackling big guys like Cam. So ATL has to keep that 49ers O on the sideline as much as possible.

Don't to get too cocky, but I really like this matchup.

I feel like we'll be able to run the ball and control the game. I got faith in our secondary because we seem to always rise up and play well against these great passing teams.

We should be able to run the ball. The teams that have given Atlanta problems all season have been teams that can run the ball.

I'm more worried about our passing game. They have 2 good corners, but if last game is any indication, they'll have to commit a safety over top of VD, which will be an advantage for us.

On Defense, we need to generate a pass rush without blitzing. We got decent pressure on Rodgers, but only 1 sack on a qb who was sacked more than anybody in the league.
If we give Ryan time in the pocket, he'll pick us apart...specifically with the TE.
Not too worried about their run game; Seattle was overrated against the run (giving up like 5 YPC the last half of the season) and I think we'll do much better. I'm curious to see how we're going to play their receivers, though.

I really don't think this is the case at all. In no way do I expect Ryan to pick us apart, he isn't that level of great. We've played better QB's the last 3 playoff games and none of them really picked us apart.

One thing that makes me feel very confident is that we take away the deep ball very well. Falcons love those deep passes and I think we`ll be able to take that away.

PWill will have his hands full with Gonzalez he's usually assigned to the TE in most of our D packages.. Ryan is not afraid to air it out this game our Safeties will need to be aware and recognize what's happening .. Roddy White gets moved around a lot in their Offense he can play any of the WR positions in their offense ..

As far as their running game they have not stuck to the run game all year except yesterday they will get impatient but we need to be ready for it I noticed they added some new wrinkles yesterday to their power formations I expect them to come out running

Right, that's what i`m saying.

Think about Vernon, Frank, Pat, Joe and them are thinking when they know Coach Nolan on the other side. Same dude who questioned Smith's toughness to play with a seperated shoulder, only to further separate it.

Kept our team together and improved our weak spot from last season( passing game). With a QB as hot as Kaep is right now, I love our SB chances. The thought of finally getting to see the Niners play in the SB after all these years

Yeah this is really a testament to how good of a coach Jimmy really is.

But this all means nothing if we lose on Sunday, we can't be happy getting close, we're not the Jets
