I don't really care about the seeds/division to be honest (I think I stated this before). The last 2 superbowl champs have been a wild card team and the 4th seed. If we're peaking at the right time, then it won't matter where we end up as long as we get into the playoffs.
I'm not saying having the #2 seed and a first round bye wouldn't be nice, but it's not a guarantee to make the Superbowl or even the NFC Championship game.
As long as we get into the playoffs, I'm good. That being said, I still think we get the #2 seed, but I'm not gonna flip out if we don't.

I don't get the Browner/Sherman fear you have. We've beaten them 3 times with those corners. How'd we win the last game? Dominating up front and running the ball. We'll do the same thing this game...as long as the defense plays it's game we should win in Seattle. Not saying it's going to be easy, but I'm not as scared of them as you are.
It's respect for those 2, and with Kaep being a 2nd year QB, it's a good reason for concern.
We beat them 13-6 last game. That isn't some great accomplishment, they held us to 13 points.
Like you said we beat them last time with the dominate run game, do you have confidence this run game is still going to be dominant going down the stretch, I find it hard to be confident of that.

Having to win 3 games> Having to win 4. We haven't even won 3 games in a row this year. We have shown no ability to go on a sustained consistent run in 2012.

The run game has been consistent all year. We're the #2 rushing team in the league. The Bears ran for 132 on them this past game. I don't see why we wouldn't be able to run on them also.
Bigger than that, we held them to 6 points last game and our run defense and our pass rush has gotten better these past 2 games. I don't anticipate those 2 corners dictating the game.

We won something like 6 in a row last year and it didn't help. I'd much rather us be peaking when the playoffs come more than anything.
the game will be tough, the crowd noise is a big enough hurdle to deal with with a young qb
i think the pats game is a L and they win in seattle
plus chances are hawks wont have either starting cb, there both facing suspensions

The OL needs to step up doesn't matter who the QB is if we can't run the ball with any consistency the Rams flat out took it to them ..plus Fischer threw a lot of different overload blitzes that weren't getting picked up ...look for teams to continue to do that till we prove we can make them pay ..

- Glad to hear LMJ is close to playing as long he can protect the ball give him carries cuz Jacobs is just a bruiser short yardage back at this point dude has no quickness to the hole

james running outside and on screen is money
Jacobs is what he is. To me, the problem is he and Gore are sort of in the same class of RB in that they run between the tackles. Obviously, Gore is a lot better at it than Jacobs, but when Jacobs comes in the game there isn't any real variation.
With James, we get that speed back that Hunter displayed. James isn't as big as Hunter, so I don't know how good he'll be running inside, but off tackle/stretch/sweep running plays we should be good, and he should also be a mismatch against a LB out of the backfield. His biggest issue will be in pass protection, and believe me, when he's in the game they'll blitz to see if he knows what to do right off the bat.
