1st team in NFL history with over 300 Receiving and Rushing?
Guess who leads the league in qb rating ?
Well, if you look at last Sunday's game, the Bills sucked and got all their weaknesses exposed by New England.
It would have been more of a surprise if the 49er's didn't give the Bills a beat down this week. It was a good opportunity to break a team record, and they did it.
That's true. But, the Bills' schedule was like the perfect storm. They went from playing against a better team and then having to face an even better team the next week. You can say that, but every week in the NFL is different because every opponent is different. Take our loss for example. The Vikings were able to effectively run the ball well enough on us to set up the play action and Ponder was able to escape the pressure long enough to find open receivers down the field. The next week, we destroyed the Jets on defense.
It's about adjustments, and the Bills obviously didn't make any (or the correct ones) from last week to this week.
Anyone still want to say Alex can't throw a ball deep?
Oh and how the fukk did Alex Smith MANAGE to be the top rated passer in the NFL after 5 weeks.
I know it was just the Bills, but lets be honest, this offense is going to be just fine with Alex at the helm
Defense incredible as usual, I wanted more picks from Pickspatrick though
That's the most impressive thing I've seen Alex do as a QB that didn't involve Vernon.
He can't. He's not consistent. He should have beaten bum ass Kyle Wilson for three long scores last weekend. Had that bum Wilson waving his finger in the air saying "no no no" as if he was doing something. You were there.
