HAMMER made good wholesome fun dance rap....without relying on street cred or using publicity stunts to garner attention

Low key, a lot of folks from age 35-39 first concert was that MC Hammer tour back in 90-91.

If for nothing else you gotta respect him for being an introduction to the art form for so many youngins. We grew up and our taste matured, but the "entertainment" part of it is what gets you started.
