I hear u, but we don't wanna get to the point where there's basically only one retailer and no competition.
totally agree - not :cape: for amazon, but they've stayed ahead of the competition and have changed the retail model

if anything, others should try and replicate where they can

automation is coming to EVERY industry....in some form or fashion
We should be setting in place a UBI but we've been convinced that the only way to be a productive member of society is to do some kind of labor for your sustenance. This in spite of plenty of rich people just sitting on top of inherited wealth and doing shyt all. I'm not trying to hate or be bitter, I'd do similar, it's just an obvious double standard based on luck of a dice roll. In a more decent society not run by sociopathic wealth hoarders we'd find more productive methods people can contribute to society than just laboring from 9-5.
