This is not good, alot people cant go or afford college and vocational training isnt available in certain states to make decent money. Which is more important than ever.

my bank in the UK is getting rid of all of its tellers in my local branch there are just machines, you have to wait about 30 minutes just to speak to someone , they are pushing everyone to phone or internet banking .... a lot of people have lost their jobs

In about 5 years time there wont be much need for factory workers due to robots

ten years time no delivery drivers or taxis

fifteen years time the robot prostitutes gonna make the human ones redundant .....

I see a lot of unemployment in the future

Glad to see payless go

I dont know how many kids I seen ridiculed for having payless shoes throughout middle school!

shyt made us slaves to the brands early on

I had my first J’s at like 9 years old. Had to beg for them motherfukkers and do chores for weeks
What a stupid beaner:russ:

So you're solution to being a label whore is getting rid of the cheap shyt and being a brand whore like Americans:mjlol:

My beef with this whole thing is the educational system is way behind, and they took trades out of schools for people aren't cut out for academics.

All of those people getting laid off will lead to increased crime. Folks have to put food on the table somehow.

Part of the problem with all of this, is that they have been fukking over those lower tier workers forever, so I don't really care about none of these businesses. The lower tier workers will receive unemployment until they find another job, and that probably for the best because none of these companies are career places for lower tier workers (making above the minimum wage, or at least to a plateau of not being under the line of poverty for 1 person 14,000$).

The corporate folks can find jobs too. These workers are not the ones who will resort to violent crime. Think about it, if they were that susceptible to commit crimes, they would do that instead of working for 7.50 for 39 hours a week (to keep them from receiving full benefits btw). Plus they probably wouldn't pass the drug test that somehow determines whether a person can flip a burger
They will use vast amounts of tax dollars, and the communities they live in will suffer.

But these specific stores are not going to increase the crime rate like that. Maybe for fraudulent crimes.

99 cents store is different from dollar stores right? :lupe:

I've been the store that are specifically called 99 cent stores as opposed to dollar tree.
Yeah if Dollar Tree goes out of business, I'm legit gon cry. I will personally shop at Dollar Tree every day if that means they will stay open :to: But I'm not too worried about them because they always packed when I go in my area :obama:

Thing is a lot of jobs are becoming obsolete .... this is just the beginning .... and they arent exactly creating enough new jobs or industries to replace em

Nobodys kids should have to wear payless shoes :yeshrug:
Rather them have shoes then have nothing.

Plus, when my dad was a pastor in the 90's he had to regularly buy shoes for the lil kids who would come to church barefoot because they outgrew their shoes and are too broke to replace them.

Everybody aint got it for retail.

  • J.Crew Group, Inc. - too early to call on this one, but the basic, boring, slightly preppy look is dying. them and banana don't offer anything "funky" enough to show personality and their basics are similar to styles you can pick up for less or in a department store
  • PetSmart Inc. - this surprises me, seems like pet-related retail would be a safe bet, guess target, walmart, costco might be winning more customers
  • David's Bridal, Inc. - i don't believe this, this is the biggest mass market bridal retailer, what's the deal here?
  • Neiman Marcus Group - fukk em
  • Payless - they been on the list for years
  • Guitar Center - take music out the schools, brehs :to: all you laptop/iphone dj's and rappers/singers also messing the game up
  • Claire's Stores, Inc. - stupid junk jewelry you can buy online, at h&m, old navy, zara, target, etc., peace out
  • Sears Holdings - this store is dead, they need to stop putting them on the list, it's clear that the only reason they still exist/operate is for the real estate play

:pacspit:

Catch strays while taking a break from your day brehs :mjcry:

Nah but for real you've been away from the east coast too long living in the bay
