Its a data point, but so is our greater strength in lining up w/one of the fastest growing groups in the country

Another data point is the impact and depth of Latino racism vs white racism... as far as I know Latinos are not disenfranchising, profiting from imprisoning, racially profiling or using their power to harm blacks... not to mention we have a common enemy in our shared legacy of second class treatment from the govt

actually the racism against black people by the GOP, democrats, latinos and tom dikk and harry are all data points and any alliance should be temporary and be based on increasing power

Yes, that is true, but the thing about Latinos making up the majority is not true. They are the biggest group, though not by very much (only a few thousand ahead of Asians,) but the majority of immigrants are not Latino. But even here, we see your vagueness at work. When you break down the category "Latino," there is nuance to be found. Besides Mexico, the Dominican Republic is the only other Latino nation in the top 5 immigrating nationalities, and the vast majority of Dominicans are Black. These are the kinds of things your position is too simple to deal with.

latinos are the majority of immigrants, and i dont even want to derail the thread by talking about dominicans, there are enough threads about that, suffice it to say that everything applies to them

You claim that, but every time anyone discusses coalitions between Blacks and Latinos, or resonances between them, you pop up like Oscar the grouch out of his garbage can to talk about Latino racism. Let's be real- you're not interested in context or nuance in this debate. You default to a generalized anti-Latino position pretty much every time they're brought up (and do the same with other non-white groups, too,) not just in the case of illegal immigration. And on top of that, you also create threads about Latino racism unprompted- it's pretty clear where you stand.

The rich will always shyt on the poor just because they can. And when I talk about the rich, I don't necessarely talk about the millionaire, I also talk about the 4/5K a month dude who will shyt on the "lazy", "minimum wage making", "on welfare", "no degree having" (etc...) worker. And I don't even talk about those who are on unemployement. From time to time, we can here some stories like that in the news.

when I was living in Miami, I used to skateboard with these latino kids (most were from Colombia). after we knew each other for awhile, they told me that when they first met myself and other American skateboarders, that they just assumed we hated them, because they were brown and from somewhere else. that was pretty funny to me and my dirtbag friends, but it let me know that shyt must be kinda like that where they're from
