Even if its a miracle and he comes out of that Vegetated state, wouldn't it be that he would have a life full of suffering?

Keep him on the machine. It could be a miracle. You never know. Stevie Wonder got into a bad wreck back in 1973 and had a traumatic brain injury and was in a coma.

On one hand I want to agree, but on the other hand how long do you keep him on?
Weeks? Months? Years? Decades? I guess they should just go with the best medical advice. I hope I never have to make that type of decision

Yeah I've experienced seeing my father on his death bed. All you can do is "hope" and "pray" but at this point that person is dead.
