X's demise rests on his hands, and nobody else's. It's tragic for the simple fact his family (most notably his children) have had fractured lives with him because of his actions, all because he chose to get his fix over fixing his relationships with them. Take it from someone who's lived through the pain of having to deal with this shyt in his immediate/extended family, and the devastation it has caused to the innocent bystanders that have been crippled emotionally by it.
Wtf are you talking about? Do you know the type of damage that gets done to your brain when you're exposed to laced weed at 14?

I'm directing it to those who had a problem with what I posted. Not everyone, in general.

The issue here is that nobody would bat an eyelid if I said what I did in a thread about some regular nxgga, in fact, they'd probably be echoing my thoughts. It's only because it's a rapper who folks grew up on to where it becomes a problem. And it's not even about me passing judgement, it's about me directing all my sympathy towards the party (his family) that has carried the burden of dealing with his shyt and the aftermath of it.

Nobody should be surprised by this event, so nobody should be mad at me for telling it exactly how it is.

:manny:
You're not telling it like it is, you 're talking out if your ass and being disrespectful.

First off, the claim that nobody would say anything if you said this in a thread about somebody who wasn't famous is wrong, you're just pulliing that out of your ass to defend yourself and accuse others of hypocrisy without any evidence.

Second, everybody who knows DMX life knows where those demons he had are coming from. He was severely traumatized as a child and his entire life was extremely fukked up until the point he blew up. And since his childhood trauma led to the internalized belief that he was undeserving of anything good in life, he had a very hard time coping with the success he had. Hence his struggle with addiction.

And third, who are you to tell anybody who they can and cannot feel empathy for? Just shut the fukk up and take your ass out of this thread if you have nothing positive to contribute.

His cameo in Top Five

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
:wow:

This is what idolatry does to you dumbass nxggas.

You can appreciate and enjoy the art without excusing the artist.

If this was Rick, y'all nxggas would be cracking jokes at his expense, saying he should've got off the drugs, and that his family deserves sympathy, and not him.

That is why I send all my love, prayers and thoughts to his family, and not him.

:hubie:

That’s what your lame ass get fakkit :manny:

You're making quite the assumption here without knowing any of us.

Many of us acknowledge that people with drug addictions have demon they're fighting every day and it's not just as easy as "just say no".

Not everyone passes judgement on others. Maybe YOU do, but not everyone.

Don’t waste your energy on that imbecile breh.

Damn, when I last checked, he supposedly was off of life support and breathing on his own.

The first thing I saw on Twitter trending this morning was "HE GOT UP". I assumed they were talking about Earl Simmons. But nah...they were just talking about some bullshyt :snoop:
