No black man, woman or child is immune to the damage that comes from living under a system of white supremacy. Drug use is only one way of many other unhealthy ways people try to cope with that damage. even if you're blessed to not have a drug/alcohol vice you're not perfect. everybody has demons to fight.

Many of us acknowledge that people with drug addictions have demon they're fighting every day and it's not just as easy as "just say no".
