It's been a hard two weeks but very pleased with the love X has been getting. His catalog shot up 1,000%. "Cradle 2 the Grave" is Top 5 on HBO Max Streaming. There are of course people trying to retroactively over analyze his lyrics but it won't work. Hip Hop and the Black Community especially will hold X memory up high. Anyways as everyone knows, Earl was in the process of a huge comeback. His last album "Undisputed" was in 2012 (No "Redemption of the Beast" was never an official DMX album, I consider it a compilation/mixtape at this point). He had been releasing singles off and on for several years but just got back with Def Jam. According to people close to him, X completed his new LP.
On "Drink Champs" he broke the news of all the features including Usher, Pop Smoke, U2, Lox and Lil' Wayne. There were rumors the first single with the Lox was supposed to drop in February but was pushed back. There is no word on if DMX shot any more music videos. His most recent appearance was in The Lox "Bout Sh!t" from last year. We also have multiple DMX movies on the way. X is a Legend so yes his Catalog will be very valuable in the future (And No, Hov and Beyonce did not buy his masters, why are people just making up stuff for clout?). In the end it will be up to his Estate to keep everything moving so his family and kids are taken care of.
