Biggie gone on March 9th X gone on April 9th
Always loved this freestyle. Wish Hav and P did more tracks with X. Even Hav with the beats. Mobb did make it on his only officially released Mixtape called "Mixtape", lol.
There's no doubt in my mind Biggie would have eventually messed with X. Especially with how Dark that Debut album was. That was right up Big's alley. Not to mention X actually did mess with Bad Boy. I also think Big would appreciated his dark storytelling ability. That one of the most underrated aspects of X's skills. He was an amazing storyteller. Love this unreleased Song X did with the Big sample. He even did the "Ready To Die" cover with the dog. Also X did a "Who Shot Ya" Freestyle.

Can’t believe yall back to the blame game.
I’ve already said majority of this shyt in an earlier post but here I go again...
You don’t know the facts.
You don’t know what he overdosed on, for all you know it could have been prescription drugs.
We don’t know what triggered him to overdose...He could have been told some fukked up news or been dealing with some mad shyt.
He was a recovering addict, it’s never smooth sailing unfortunately.
He had several bumps in his journey, once you hit rehab it doesn’t mean you’re going to free of drugs and alcohol abuse for ever.
Yall can sit there blaming Nore etc but reality is X was a grown man, he didn’t have to give in to drinking and smoking with Nore...As I said it he was an addict so obviously it’s not as black and white as that, and the temptation was likely greater for him than it would be for me and you.
No doubt there was situations and people around him that didn’t help or take into consideration his ongoing battle, I don’t even dispute that.
Hindsight is 20/20.
X seem like the kind of man that gonna do what he wants anyway, no matter if you discourage or tell him no.
If he wants to do it he gonna go ahead regardless.
What we should take away from this is how we in society view and treat people with addictions.
We as people are quick to judge, we’re all guilty of judging someone who is addicted to drugs and/or alcohol.
Without fully understanding and appreciating how hard it is for someone to break that cycle and stay clean.
More needs to be done to support those with addictions, from early interventions to on going support programmes...Instead of demonising and criminalising them.
Let the man rest in peace, playing the blame game is futile and doesn’t help anybody.
He was troubled and I hope he’s now at peace.
