just ended the game.. the game lost its charm around the ship level.. and the same boring monsters throughout the game really made it underwhelming
everything around the Bakers home was fantastic
ill rate it a 7.5/10

is the DLC worth purchasing?

VR is fantastic in this. Standard motion sickness concerns still apply (it all depends on the person, some people experience it, some don't and the degrees vary). The atmosphere and overall immersion is the most unique video game experience I have ever had. Nothing out there right compares to it. It controls incredibly well and it's easy to lose yourself in the games world. The graphics take a substantial hit compared to the standard HDTV but it doesn't take away from the immersion. This is easily the game that makes the case for VR games being the future.

I decided I wanted to get some substantial progress with this game so I played a couple of hours in the standard version. First thing I noticed is either I've simply gotten used to the VR controls, or it might just be that movement in VR is actually better than on controller. In PSVR I would just look where I wanted to shoot and pull the trigger. Going back to aiming and shooting with the analogue sticks felt like a step back. The graphics aren't as big a jump from PSVR to TV as I thought it would be, which is a testament to the good job they did with bringing this game over to PSVR. The only upside to playing on TV is the lack of motion sickness. I played for about 3 hours this weekend and I think I'm almost at the end of the game now. With PSVR my sessions topped out at about an hour.
Here's the stream for anyone interested.

Spoiler alert: Made it through the entire Lucas section and most of the boat

I feel you, Madhouse is too hard I got used to VR controls, I cant headshot for shyt. I would still say VR>>>>2D the sense of presence was amazing.
