Just played the first hour in VR

Made a lot of adjustments in the options for VR, eventually got use to it, slight motion sickness, but I feel that I can complete this game in VR

Mia tho
:dwillhuh:

I was more than happy to shoot that bytch after she cut my hand off, maybe I'm a bit sadistic but I was happy when I found her in the attic so I could put something hot in her ass

Played for 30 minutes in PSVR again and felt very sick towards the end. I stopped because I couldn't stomach it anymore. Got my first weapon and fought the first enemy. Game is flames though.

Is this game really only a few hours long? I guess I'll wait to get it for free.

No, most reviews say a normal play through is about 10-12 hours which puts it in line with pretty much all the other RE games. The experience is well worth it though. They def restored the feeling with this one.

Just finding out you're supposed to destroy the bobble heads :martin:

Game ain't 4 hours unless you're cheating and flying through the game. I've been playing since last night and only got to the dog heads part where you have to go through the boiler room to get the last one

that final boss was lame but overall really good game. just wish they made each area slightly larger, the game could have done with another two hours or so. And there couldve been more videotape sections as well, i liked how different those were.

hate how lucas didnt get any payoff, he was easily my favorite character and they just forgot about him. Didnt even get a boss fight or an area where he stalked you

didnt need a chris cameo either, AND they changed his face and voice AGAIN. why does capcom always do this shyt

I was talking about my 30 minutes in VR. (Which I went back and check it was actually 35 minutes).
This game is crazy in VR. That first fight was intense as hell.
Motion sickness aside the game controls great. I had no problem at all landing my attacks in PSVR.
The graphics downgrade for PSVR has been worth it to me. The 3D audio and the scale of the game in the headset is something you have to experience.
I'm seeing people in here shook from enemies they've seen on their TV. Imagine those same enemies life size, in your face attacking you. :sadbron:

So I rocked the first chunk of gameplay (spoiler free description, I'm just past finally getting the handgun permanently). First the ambience and tension of this game is better than RE has had in a very long time. The two mansion games are the only ones with a comparable setting that just makes everything more worrisome (RE1 and Code Veronica) imo. Second, it took a while for me to get used to the first person in this without even using the VR; I kept getting turned around because I was looking around for any hidden secrets (didn't find anything either). My only real adjustment was that I'd been using the map periodically but started relying on it a lot more frequently. The action scenes so far have been few and far between as I'm early in the game, but damn they have been pretty superb. There's also the mystery aspect, even if I wasn't having much fun I would have to keep pressing on because I want to know what's going on. Luckily, so far the gameplay has been on point, I'm enjoying myself and just wish there were more secrets scattered about because I'm exploring every nook and cranny but haven't been rewarded much yet other than some creepy photographs.

The garage scene with the cop and pop dukes is one of the most memorable moments I've had with an RE game period...that was an epic scene and awesome way to win a "boss fight."
