It's most likely going to be 8~10 hours for the first playthrough adn probably less for the second as it'll be very similar. The games originally weren't very long. They're highly replayable though.

You could beat both play throughs of the original in like 4-5 hours

If you finished the original in less than 4 hours and with only 3 saves you got special shyt. Resident Evil was one of the originals for what you could call "trophies".

HLTB has the original at 7-8 hours. Not everyone knows exactly what to do and rushes through everything.
