When I put a few a few handgun bullets into a zombies head I expect it to go down and stay down, not get back up and 20 seconds later and chew on my ass.:martin:

Other than that, im in.:wow:
Try land critical shots on them, they won’t get back after 3 critical shots to the dome. Sometimes landing 2 critical shots explodes their heads.
To make critical shot, make sure the reticle is this position

Controversial opinion here but


I played the demo twice on a PS Pro and now I'm currently playing it on a vanilla OG Xbox One (no X)

And it looks better on the OG Xbox imo.


On the pro it looked washed out, similar to how RDR 2 looked (and still looks) with HDR turned on.

The lack of HDR on the of Xbox makes it look better and less washed out to me

Pretty sure I can replicate this image on the pro by turning off the HDR, but honestly u shouldn't have to do that. HDR is supposed to make ur shyt look better, not worse (HDR in God of War, Spiderman and Detroit Become looks great)
HDR is broken in the game. U gotta turn it off. I played on the One X and then played on the Ps4 Pro with HDR off and its a night and day difference.

I like that the Zombies eat bullets and don't go down with just a headshot.
It offers a nice bit of tension because, I had a few moments where I'd thought I'd put down
a zombie for good, only to be shook when I saw them shuffling again like nothing happened.

Figured out some of the issue with the visuals is that the HDR is broken. For those who have this on PS4 Pro or Xbox One X. Turn HDR off. Its implemented horribly. May get patched when the game releases.
This is the second capcom game to fukk up HDR.
:why:
Monster hunter world has fukked up hdr on ps4 too and they never fixed it.

man imagine in addition to zombies being hard to kill that they had the crimson head zombies from the RE1 remake in this game :damn:

them mfs was fast as fukk :damn:

I hope we get a RE3 remake as well as a Dino Crsis remake

Truthfully Capcom should remake it's entire library if possible.

And use the profits on new IP's.


I can't really think of a Capcom game I wouldn't replay if done with TLC like RE2.

From mega Man x( think gg or 2 high res hand drawn graphics) rival schools to viewful Joe and up until RE4 and code Veronica.

I’m also glad you can’t take down zombies as easily with this over the shoulder perspective.

The whole point of the OG games was to conserve ammo, dodge them more than taking them head on. If you could take them down easy with headshots, it wouldn’t be as tense.

Im upset that the gameplay is very very different from the OG but the way the game is made is very impressive. I was shook the entire time playing it. I kept pausing every few minutes to check the timer on how long I been playing, and it was always like 10 minutes less than I thought, thats how shook I was. Every minute felt like 5. Having areas be dark with the shyt flashlight, combined with the random creaks and general sound design really make you feel uneasy. When I completed the demo in 25 mins, I was like goddamn that actually felt like a 2 hour session.

That's called tension and good pacing. I can't wait to play this shyt.

They took what they leaned from RE 7 and applied it to RE2 remake.


Which works because RE 7 took what worked from earlier RE titles and integrated and updated it with RE7
