ehh. i'd have to see exactly what they're cutting

there's not a single area where the government doesn't waste money. trimming fat does not equal elimination of anything

if republicans are really out here cutting essential services for veterans, fukk it. gives Dems something to run on
Why no defense cuts?

How will this affect the FBA family?
full
They'll cut everything giving so much as a hint of tangibles for FBA.

Which will open the door for tangibles specifically for FBA

But hear me out here.

I get the existence of enemies but Every single vassal state already makes its own weapons whether we are talking Israel or Korea or Japan. The NATO countries still have their legacy cold war arsenals, and their own competing military contractors. And once again, we would still have more spending than every individual country on earth if we cut the budget in half.

I doubt the Republican super majority cares about jobs or citizens at all. They keep getting the votes irregardless. Republicans have chosen to repeatedly screw over their voting base on everything from healthcare, to inflation, to being the original proponents of outsourcing. They are the same ones currently trying to cut hundreds of thousands of jobs from the federal govt. So I find it hard to believe that the military alone is some sacred cow, when they were seriously considering taking out social security earlier this year and are currently gutting medicade/medicare.

I mean for God sakes, the previously sacred veterans are going to get VA coverage gutted under this presidential term according to proj 2025.
The sacred cow is the cash cow.
Social security is an expense, and in their eyes, a Leftist New Deal era act that is antiquated. Pro-Hoovers, if you will, in this sense. 95% of Congresspeople will never use social security, so even though it would benefit their constituents, it bears no weight to their lives personally.

And remember, Hoover, a Republican, did not support the vets. Hoovervilles sprouted up in DC during the beginning of the Great Depression, with veterans demanding their pensions from World War I.

If I’m not mistaken, Medicaid and Medicare were established under ANOTHER democrat who they considered had a Leftist agenda, Lyndon B Johnson.

Wait until they double down on the tariff business.
