:hubie:Do it. I'm not for punishment politics and I know I will feel shyt too, but the people who voted for this need to feel that pain.

fukk coddling the voting base, they did this. Democrats fumbled majorly BUT everyone had a choice to make and ultimately chose the guy who lost his job 4 years ago because he was trash at it. Let everyone feel that pain. My condolences to those who won't make it, but if you lose a fukking finger, you probably know not to put your fingers in the crack of the door when someone is trying to close it.

@RamsayBolton You know what to say.

I know I'm just rambling, but i feel like America is that dude with the luxury car in the apartment complex struggling to pay rent, because we insist on keeping the military bmw we can't afford and don't need, to stunt on people who don't care.:beli:
When you’ve fukked over a number of countries and made others dependent on your support, you are put in a position where you have to overproduce weapons for yourself and your vassal states.

Not to mention that the defense department and the building of weapons in American cities provides hundreds of thousands of jobs. Coastal cities and shipbuilding ports would go into recess if the government stopped their production of materials. Boston would suffer because a lot of Raytheon missiles are produced there. The Military Industrial Complex has America in a chokehold and that isn’t going away until we stop being the police of the world.

Holy fukk, America really got a white south african as president :mjlol:
I’m trying to think of the last time a private citizen had this much sway over the president and consequently the government. Jerry Falwell? The mafia over JFK? Ford, and the other big money Gilded age Barons?

I’m hoping for some Iran-Contra, Lewinsky, Watergate levels of scandals, multiple at that. Elon looks like the type who would wake up in a room with a dead hooker like Senator Geary on Godfather II

But hear me out here.

I get the existence of enemies but Every single vassal state already makes its own weapons whether we are talking Israel or Korea or Japan. The NATO countries still have their legacy cold war arsenals, and their own competing military contractors. And once again, we would still have more spending than every individual country on earth if we cut the budget in half.

I doubt the Republican super majority cares about jobs or citizens at all. They keep getting the votes irregardless. Republicans have chosen to repeatedly screw over their voting base on everything from healthcare, to inflation, to being the original proponents of outsourcing. They are the same ones currently trying to cut hundreds of thousands of jobs from the federal govt. So I find it hard to believe that the military alone is some sacred cow, when they were seriously considering taking out social security earlier this year and are currently gutting medicade/medicare.

I mean for God sakes, the previously sacred veterans are going to get VA coverage gutted under this presidential term according to proj 2025.

ehh. i'd have to see exactly what they're cutting

there's not a single area where the government doesn't waste money. trimming fat does not equal elimination of anything

if republicans are really out here cutting essential services for veterans, fukk it. gives Dems something to run on in 2026
