I don't know what is going on here because you keep saying what I said as if what I said was different.Dude you literally telling me some shyt I already said I'm aware no legislation will be passed. As far as the 20 saying it a different way it's still 20 voting against him which is exactly what I've already said. Wtf is going on here?
My initial point was that if 11 moderate Republicans that were voting for McCarthy didn't show up for one of these votes then Jeffries could be elected Speaker of the House. So 6 Republicans would not have to cross party lines to vote for Jeffries. They could get to the same place by 11 Republicans not showing up to vote at all.

They luckily got two seats because one of the people stupidly decided to keep her spot despite being damn-near decrepit, and the congress allowed republicans to do whatever they want to stop the other seat.

We're used to seeing laziness and incompetence from our politicians. But to see it from one party who often claims to make government work better, turn into a shyt show is impressive. This is the first time we are seeing a glimpse of power struggle of the GOP in public display. They are definitely owning the libs.
Only thing that is not funny is that these mothafukkers have an unbelievable amount of power to make people's lives miserable and stay in power.
This political theater shouldn't really interest people outside of perhaps liking that worm Mccarthy not getting the Speakership he's sold his soul for.
Other than that, what's the battle? Does Marjorie Trailer Trash Queen have drastic policy differences with Lauren Bimboert? Of course not. The Republican party hardly does policy positions unless it's tax cuts for the wealthy or cuts for social programs. This is just what fascists do. They will turn on each other because all they really believe in is raw power for power's sake with no coherent philosophies. One minute this group is the enemy. Then that group. The each other because someone isn't pure enough.
They all believe in the same repellant, regressive agenda - maintaining wealth and power for themselves, and even moreso for their donors. It's not like Kevin's team really wants to do major prison reform, but no Lauren's team believes strongly in a universal healthcare system first before that's tackled!

They are gonna wanna run a bunch of trash investigations noone with a brain cares about. The investigations will reveal nothing of value. Theve been infiltrated by MAGAs who are more concerned with building brands for themselves. At best they can fix this next election cycle but right now their going to pay with not breaking ties with trump hard two years ago

Wouldn't happen. Any Republicans who did that would get primaried easily regardless of them "technically" not voting for Jeffries
