How do you know I wasn't talking about Gil?

:skip:

I don't have a problem with your personal viewpoint on the debate one way or the other, my issue was being "told" not to post something or bring up a subject on an Internet forum, especially when one of the members of this thread summoned me to give my thoughts.

He argued JR Smith was a better player & defender than Wade? :picard:
I argued JR was/is a better defender, and he is. Wade is no longer capable of handling high defensive guard reps anymore. Partly the reason why he's coming off the bench.

And when Zo went to UCLA he was surrounded by scorers as well.

Just put him around intelligent dudes that can run and can shoot/finish. B
Nah he was averaging like 25 his senior year
i figured I was wrong but he's never been a scorer and I don't remember him scoring 20+ a lot

It was based on your comment "give it up" which denoted that the subject shouldn't be discussed further. Nevertheless, no big deal.

how did you jump from what I said to "hate" ?

Hating is overused and lazy analysis.......At this point I dont see anything in this kid that screams that he will be elite at the next level mostly because he has bad habits on court
nikka you literally just asked why nikkas have optimism for the fukking kid:gucci:

What you want, nikkas to be negative about him? Thats the fukking definition of being a hater... Kid is a 5 star recruit :gucci:

You just said because of bad habits... He's only 16-17 what you expect him to be a finished product

You sound pretty naive about weight training right now.

Athletes are on some other shyt....They don't have to "look like" they weight train to be strong

here's a better pic of him:

Is a realistic assessment of his talents and skillset hating?

And by the way that 5 star recruit moniker is essentially useless to me...... IF YOU VALUE that its totally fine......I just dont think it really has much merit.

At 16-17 I dont expect him to be a finished product.......but he has atrocious habits and quite a bit of the footage on him shows it.

Now if you like the kid that's fine......I simply think he is going to get worked over when he starts playing against more talented peers

If its going to be negative, yeah

I've watched him play and gave a realistic assessment of his talent. I listed what he's good and not good at.

You automatically watched some highlights and basically saying there is nothing to be optimistic about.

And yes, I do value the moniker of being a 5 star recruit :gucci:. What would be the point of the system if its not of any value??? Does it mean he's gonna be nice in the league? No, it means right now he is highly sought after and schools believe basketball wise his skills are at the top

His "atrocious" habits have led him to an undefeated school record, a HS title, and close to a second one. AAU ball does not mean ANYTHING so playing with some neighborhood kids and jacking up shots doesn't mean shyt.. Might as well be playing at the YMCA

And this kid played with and against some of the best HS talent and teams daily... He's friends with most of them so when he starts playing against who, college kids? He already does that so in 2 years when he's probably like 6'8 with an improved skillset from working out with NBA trainers and pros regularly and grown into his body, you don't think he's gonna be ready to play against those same college kids?

Just admit you don't like the kid and keep pushing but wondering why others are so "optimistic" about his game and future? Why shouldn't people be optimistic???

those are 45 plates Gelo is lifting.. i can tell just by the width of th plate. Keep in Mind Gelo is 6'5 breh....with weight training he can lift heavy especially since he already had the mass for it.
