Is a realistic assessment of his talents and skillset hating?
And by the way that 5 star recruit moniker is essentially useless to me...... IF YOU VALUE that its totally fine......I just dont think it really has much merit.
At 16-17 I dont expect him to be a finished product.......but he has atrocious habits and quite a bit of the footage on him shows it.
Now if you like the kid that's fine......I simply think he is going to get worked over when he starts playing against more talented peers
If its going to be negative, yeah
I've watched him play and gave a realistic assessment of his talent. I listed what he's good and not good at.
You automatically watched some highlights and basically saying there is nothing to be optimistic about.
And yes, I do value the moniker of being a 5 star recruit
. What would be the point of the system if its not of any value??? Does it mean he's gonna be nice in the league? No, it means right now he is highly sought after and schools believe basketball wise his skills are at the top
His "atrocious" habits have led him to an undefeated school record, a HS title, and close to a second one. AAU ball does not mean ANYTHING so playing with some neighborhood kids and jacking up shots doesn't mean shyt.. Might as well be playing at the YMCA
And this kid played with and against some of the best HS talent and teams daily... He's friends with most of them so when he starts playing against who, college kids? He already does that so in 2 years when he's probably like 6'8 with an improved skillset from working out with NBA trainers and pros regularly and grown into his body, you don't think he's gonna be ready to play against those same college kids?
Just admit you don't like the kid and keep pushing but wondering why others are so "optimistic" about his game and future? Why shouldn't people be optimistic???
