Philly bouls, Trust the Process
While in general he needs to put on more weight, his rapid growth is a solid explanatory variable for why he's so thin and hasn't been too explosive. He's getting more explosive rather quickly though, this happened with Lonzo too. One year 'Zo was barely dunking, the next he was throwing down crazy ass dunks and lobs everywhere.

My money is on Lamelo being the one to actually be a really good NBA player.

I really don’t know if y’all are being serious or trolling :hhh:

He’s looked average against top competition his own age, but he’s a starter in the nba?

How has looked average against kids his own age and he's rated the 6th best 11th grader in the world?:gucci:

And he's really supposed to be a sophomore :martin:

And unlike Lonzo, Lamelo is a scorer...

Lonzo has been doing the triple double shyt since HS but never averaged more than 20 points.

He was a much better 3pt shooter before than now but ultimately, NBA has not changed his game. And despite Zo being in a slump, He's not even the best scorer in his family and his career high is already a 29point damn near triple double

Lamelo is nothing but offense. He's just as good of a passer as Zo (they can literally make the same passes) and he is already a much better ball handler and scorer than Zo and thats being 3+ years younger.

And Lamelo doesn't do his scoring based on athletic ability, he literally is just a skilled scorer and distributor which is something a lot of these shoot first PG's can't do.

And usually when you nikkas talk about his efficiency its been in AAU bullshyt basketball which is basically a glorified practice/scrimmage during tge summer for kids to broadcast their talents outside of HS ball. In HS, the style they play caused them to shoot more than the average player but they kept teammates involved and they won. Many of those "inefficient" shooting games you nikkas talked about this dude had double digit assists as well

If it's AAU bullshyt with literally awful defense being played then he shouldn't be as inefficienct as he is. And at that level you want your guys to be scoring on athletic ability on top of everything else as they should be putting other high schoolers to shame if they're legitimate NBA talents. I don't really see how you can say he's some skilled scorer when they ran one of the most gimmicky offenses ever with the way they would play almost no defense and would cherry pick hard, but sure. High school ball, in particular their, has been showcased more often but that doesn't mean other NBA players weren't doing the same shyt or better back in the day.

He obviously racks up assists because he's the goddamn only option and was having the entire offense ran through him.

Have you watched him play against top talent? Like actual games, not highlights? Rankings are nothing but politics; Theo Pinson was the number 1 player in his class.

He doesn't.

Coli has its own basketball myths that need to be debunked

Breh.. in the thumbnail.. look at the brehs chest. His arms.

Muscles and strength have a strong correlation. You make muscle gains by lifting heavy - at least up until a certain point.

I've never seen a dude with so little muscle definition lift so much. Granted he was practically doing an incline bench with the powerlifter form but still.... look at the brehs chest.

I've been lifting for years. Seeing someone with such little muscle mass lift all of the weight just doesn't look right.

I'm not saying it's impossible. But it doesn't look right.

Little muscle definition? That physique at 6'5" can't lift 315?

If you a weightlifter you should know that a 315 bench @ a 240 bodyweight isn't really impressive :stopitslime:

You don't lift breh
