They'll get there. They still have to build that chemistry. Trust Kuzma, Zo and Ingram moving forward will be some deadly shyt. Heck even incorporate Nance, he's really high iq and efficient player. But yea a lot of it is just time...
I know man but it's like these nikkas don't got hands outside of Kuz..

BI not really good at football catches apparently and Brook just can't seem to do shyt.

Randle rather dribble the ball up the floor than just run and catch, etc.

BI is still young though. Plus from I've seen nikkas on that team, randle and clarkson never pass the rock to Ingram. Why you even mentioning brook :mjlol: Lopez is only a temp center, I don't even think he'll be in LA more than a season...
shyt takes time though. Magic gotta make some moves though.

@Serious @O.T.I.S.

Just saw Lavar took Gelo outta UCLA

Good chances Lamelo reopens his recruitment?
Idk I'm watching the story develop as well. But LaMelo can go anywhere....

He should go to USC though. He'd be physically closer to Zo and the Lakers. Staples Center is literally just up the street from USC(not even half a mile, same street). And traffic wise it's a lot easier to get from USC to the Lakers training facility in El Segundo, than to go from UCLA to the Lakers training facility.

Also going to USC puts Lamelo closer to chino hills....

Point of reference traffic around UCLA is the worst in the city....

That's great for him, I think he'll make his way in the league as a 2, and a 6'6+ SG who can shoot and create his own shot will do damage.

Breh you act as if these things are easy to do in the NBA. He does it at awful efficiency in high school, it's going to be hard as fukk for him to do it in the NBA. Look at Lonzo, he killed it before the NBA too but once he got here he had troubles with the shooting. Unlike LaMelo, Lonzo is a passer, a good rebounder, and a good defender(especially as a rookie). I've never seen Lamelo even try on defense so he has long way to go before doing any damage in the NBA.

With the type of attitude his father has I just don't see Melo going to UCLA now, with them suspending Gelo and him pulling Gelo.

And like you said Melo can go anywhere,he's the second best PG in his class.

His stock is going to shoot through the roof after next summer. It'll be interesting to see what happens

Idk

If NCAA still tripping over his shoes and shyt with BBB i dont know if he even goes to college.

Maybe Gelo and Lamelo go to USC but they've all been so set on UCLA. Obviously they can go anywhere though.

I was honestly just more curious to see how they play now. Gelo in a new system, Melo alone, and Zo with Lakers.

Growing pains with Zo but he's been successful at every level so unless his love for the game changes, I think he will be fine long term with teammates that fit his style of play. UCLA coaches loved him and actually think despite his shooting woes, he's been impressive.

And unlike Lonzo, Lamelo is a scorer...

Lonzo has been doing the triple double shyt since HS but never averaged more than 20 points.

He was a much better 3pt shooter before than now but ultimately, NBA has not changed his game. And despite Zo being in a slump, He's not even the best scorer in his family and his career high is already a 29point damn near triple double

Lamelo is nothing but offense. He's just as good of a passer as Zo (they can literally make the same passes) and he is already a much better ball handler and scorer than Zo and thats being 3+ years younger.

And Lamelo doesn't do his scoring based on athletic ability, he literally is just a skilled scorer and distributor which is something a lot of these shoot first PG's can't do.

And usually when you nikkas talk about his efficiency its been in AAU bullshyt basketball which is basically a glorified practice/scrimmage during tge summer for kids to broadcast their talents outside of HS ball. In HS, the style they play caused them to shoot more than the average player but they kept teammates involved and they won. Many of those "inefficient" shooting games you nikkas talked about this dude had double digit assists as well

@O.G.B

Time to unleash the flutes, Guru :banderas:
The amount of Ls @O.G.B took from that exchange was some otherworldly type shyt:

He argued that K-Mart was better than ISO Joe back in 2016
LeBron came out and said he wanted Johnson on the Cavs (@O.G.B is a Cavs fan)
Johnson turned down LeBron to go to Miami
Johnson outperformed K-Mart all throughout the season and was one of the go-to options on a playoff team, whereas K-Mart was struggling to get minutes
A # of teams wanted Johnson in the next offseason (signs two-year/$22m contract with the Jazz), while K-Mart was forced into retirement because no team wanted his bum ass
Following postseason - Johnson's dropping 20+pt games and hitting game-winners; K-Mart's name was never to be uttered on an NBA court again.

At that point, I was just padding my stats against @O.G.B.

Real shyt, I think people forget that Lamelo was getting rebounds, then lobbing them like Zo to cherry picking ass Gelo. This means he can pass like Zo as well

And when Lamelo scored 92 it was because he was the one cherry picking and Eli was the one passing the ball ahead up the court (Gelo was hurt that game).

He also scored in multiple ways against multiple defenders with just skill in that game. He couldn't even dunk and was just jelly-rolling layups, hitting threes, and hitting floaters.. He even said the first half he was just passing the ball. He scored most of his 92 in the second half

Gelo done had multiple 60-70+ games as well. Zo NEVER had games like them 2 because Zo isn't a scorer. He really is a throwback PG and when all 3 were together they complimented each other because they played like that together most of their lives.
