I really think they need a mixture of both you still need a few mechanic and good hands to help lead these cats through matches. I hope y'all are ready for some uncoordinated hoss fights and guys struggling to tell a story.
Look at that Alexa & Eva Marie match from Summerslam Alexa is not good enough to carried Eva Marie and Eva cant work for shyt.

Everyone hated that match well expect those type of matches if you go completely inexperienced. There nothing wrong with having a nice mix of young and old talent but because there in there feelings right now its fukk all older or established talent.

Which is even more funny giving there 3 biggest star in the last 10 years Bryan, Punk & AJ all indie darling with a bulid in name and rep.

Expect alot of Brocks who are doing it for the check or just being on tv but don't really give a flying fukk about wrestling or the business and you need people in the business working who actually love the business.

The Bellas :hubie:

Not who everyone would think of first, but they got a reality TV show out of the company and are both in the Hall Of Fame. By the company's current metrics they're stars :manny:

I still think he's super fukked up for the way he treated Lio Rush, but Mark Henry discovered Bianca Bel Air, Jade Cargill and Braun Strowman. He might have been their best bet as a scout if they were going all the way in the 'non-worker' direction.
We went from JR and Edge & Christian the Hardy The Rock, Angle, Lita, Trish to the damm Bellas, AJ Lee & Sheamus boy how low the bar has fallen:francis::francis:

Football was always a good feeder system for wrestling, catching those guys that barely missed playing in the NFL or washed out early for whatever reason. Football players tend to have natural charisma / shyt talking ability.

They’ve gotta be mindful tho, those same guys didn’t have MMA also as an option like they do now.
Ehh.

Football as a background has probably a 50/50 rate.

Plus in the past, alot of those guys were wrestling fans of the attitude era, or before.

I feel like it's not that way anymore.

I’m baffled at how Wardlow wasn’t signed
:gucci:

He’s tall, physically imposing, handsome:dame: and he can cut a promo and work a match :dwillhuh:

would’ve been a layup signing

Same. I legit think Wardlow's ceiling can be a better version of Batista. I listened to the whole interview I posted awhile back, and he said his favorite wrestlers growing up were HitGOAT and Mr. Perfect. So you know he's for real :wow:

I agree :wow: WardGOAT is the future. AEW needs to make sure he becomes a world champion

We gonna have to agree to disagree.

You’ve got a generation of kids that grew up on late stage ruthless aggression / early PG era becoming NFL age.

Most of them won’t make the league.

But an elite athlete should be able to find work somewhere.

athletes are better now than they ever have been .. there’s people in commercial and CrossFit gyms that fit the “Walmart test” they’re looking for.

The raw talent is there to be had.

WWE being able to attract them tho, that’s another topic. Because as you’ve said and I wholeheartedly agree with you tho Nick Khan appears to only cares about the bottom line and not the game of inches it takes to keep that bottom line

Superman most definitely don’t look like a regular dude breh :dwillhuh: Spider-Man traditionally ain’t brolic and Batman depends but I wouldn’t point to them 3 as examples
