XFL Ratings Beat NBA, NHL Numbers in Nearly Every Local Market

Were they a ratings juggernaut? No. Nobody expected them to be.

They were doing solid, like I said. These are facts, not opinions

It was beating college hoops consistently every week for fukks sake

Cokeboy timed it well with the lull period of the NBA season after the all-star break. Those ratings & attendance figures wouldn't have held up with March Madness on the horizon & the MLB season starting. I know thecoli hates baseball for the most part, but the New York / St. Louis / LA / DC markets are prime for baseball.

And it's not really my opinion that the XFL would have never attracted major stars. Antonio Brown flat out said he could buy the XFL if he wanted, fukk would he want to play in that league for :russ:

It’s obvious your definition of “solid” isnt the same as mine. I can’t see anything under a 2.0 a solid.

my idea of solid is competing with and bringing in more viewers than the other sports that are on in your time slot, consistently.

But for fans in this weird wrestling bubble, I could see why anything not rivaling Monday night wars numbers is a failure to y’all..

If anyone expected XFL to be doing Monday night Football numbers, they’re fukking stupid

XFL was doing AEW and NXT’s total viewers combined, but go off sis

This has nothing to do with E ratings. I just stated a face. I never said anything about the XFL getting NFL numbers.

I consider anything over a 3.0 solid.

Lol ya’ll gotta kill some of these narratives. Honestly, the XFL was going well. All jokes aside, the ratings were falling week to week but ALWAYS remained solid. Was outperforming practically everything else in their time slots and even beating out other sports including primetime NBA games surprisingly.

The attendance was actually growing weekly. In some markets it wasn’t great (LA/NY) but in others they were literally selling out entire venues (St Louis, Seattle)

it was a hit on twitter

and most importantly, they had real talent. PJ Walker was a fukkin beast and he, as well as a ton of other players got NFL deals when the season wrapped. XFL was legit becoming an alternative to NCAA for guys that decided not to go the college route as well as a second chance at a landing spot for vets.

As much as we hate Vince (for good reason..He’s a piece of shyt) the XFL was good for the sport of Football, and it wouldn’t have went under this time around if Covid-19 didn’t crush the buildings. Like as a sports fan, I wouldn’t be mad at it coming back for a third time.

but that’s me :yeshrug:

Totally agree

Breh u should know by now the marks don’t like listening to simple logic. They would rather engage in their fake outrage towards Vinny Mac.
