He learned from his BFF Trump. Trump used to declare bankruptcy practically the moment a casino or club was finished, so he could use that as leverage to renegotiate the loans and avoid paying the contractors. He keeps his money while a TON of regular people get fukked over in the process, but so long as we keep electing rich people and their pawns to write the laws in this country, that's how it will go.

Lol ya’ll gotta kill some of these narratives. Honestly, the XFL was going well. All jokes aside, the ratings were falling week to week but ALWAYS remained solid. Was outperforming practically everything else in their time slots and even beating out other sports including primetime NBA games surprisingly.

The attendance was actually growing weekly. In some markets it wasn’t great (LA/NY) but in others they were literally selling out entire venues (St Louis, Seattle)

it was a hit on twitter

and most importantly, they had real talent. PJ Walker was a fukkin beast and he, as well as a ton of other players got NFL deals when the season wrapped. XFL was legit becoming an alternative to NCAA for guys that decided not to go the college route as well as a second chance at a landing spot for vets.

As much as we hate Vince (for good reason..He’s a piece of shyt) the XFL was good for the sport of Football, and it wouldn’t have went under this time around if Covid-19 didn’t crush the buildings. Like as a sports fan, I wouldn’t be mad at it coming back for a third time.

but that’s me :yeshrug:

Why is that an excuse for declaring bankruptcy and not paying the XFL front office staff, players and coaches & then trying to buy the rights back on the cheap? Those retweets aren't putting money in their bank accounts. Once the NFL scooped up the PJ Walkers of the XFL, the XFL wouldn't stand for many more seasons after that with the poor talent pool. Guys who were outcast from the NFL like Kaepernick and Antonio Brown even flat out said they wouldn't entertain playing there.

who said it was an excuse for anything lol

You’re stating opinions, and that’s cool. I respect it..

I just stated a couple facts though..

Ya’ll hate Vince McMahon and want everything he does to fail because his wrestling show ain’t what ya want it to be. I get that.. I hate the nikka too, that’s not what this is about though. all I said is XFL was solid before a pandemic ended that shyt. If you disagree then cool, it is what it is.

This post has NOTHING to do with the topic of this thread. You typed up a bunch of nonsense:mjtf:

It was a general statement, not necessarily about the thread itself but the XFL narrative overall amongst wrestling purist nerds on the internet who don’t even watch actual sports and knew nothing about it outside of Vince McMahon’s involvement
