The point guard position is deep as fukk in the NBA right now. Lin is average. At least half of the starting point guards in the league are better than him without any argument.

Knicks have zero PGs , and really half of them with no argument ??? Can't cosign that sorry lin might be overrated but he can be a good pg .

I'm not saying he can't be good. In this league, an "average" point guard is a very good player.

I don;t think I ever heard a knicks fan say that he has no heart, the kid has plenty, plenty of heart, way more than melo and amare. The whole knick's D need help, but his D is actually very decent, it's not his fault amare can't help out with the pick and roll. The Dolans are business people, they can overpay Lin all they want but they'll make that money back quick.

As far as Lin's ability if your team has no PG's and then you basically get a rookie that is an average PG by the end of the year. Showed promise & actually helped you win games...you wouldn't resign him?

Off of potential alone Lin has a chance to be very good. With his current status the worse he can be is average. The best is he could turn out to be great. I think Lin's worth it. He just has to work on his handles & passing out of double teams, now with J. Kidd on the team I think Lin will come around well.
