I understand the concept of getting your bread, this is a bit ridiculous though.

This dude was about to be outta the league and if it wasn't for injuries would have never got burns. Now he got us at gunpoint? :what:

Lin is average as hell. His D is :flabbynsick:, his jumper is :ld:, he takes it to the hole but half the time waits to long to dish it out and when he finally does he is under the basket and has 3 defender around him and turns it over, and he has no heart.

he had a run, I enjoyed Linsanity as much as anybody else...its more hype than anything else. At this point as a Knick fan I could live with him leaving and becoming a superstar more than I could him staying us over paying and he becomes average at best.

I don;t think I ever heard a knicks fan say that he has no heart, the kid has plenty, plenty of heart, way more than melo and amare. The whole knick's D need help, but his D is actually very decent, it's not his fault amare can't help out with the pick and roll. The Dolans are business people, they can overpay Lin all they want but they'll make that money back quick.

Settle down I like Lin too and we have no pg so we need him. Lin def plays d plus plays the passing lanes well. Disrespecting amare and melo tho ehhh nae lin couldve played in the playoffs but chose to protect his knee. Amare def has heart ( playing with that handy injury and that back injury )self inflicted I know .
Melo played through various injuries and carried us to the playoffs while hitting game winners , dont act that Lin making the most of a oppurtunity = more heart tho

If you watched the game they mugged him he was on the ground a few times. That happens yes on ball steals but soon as you inbound the ball a guy pressing you that hard ? The Heat saw the officials weren't going to call anything . The heat play d with no calls melo was being fouled by battier repeatedly yet the one game when melo gets the calls we win ,

maybe not more heart but to say he has no heart is not right either. Why would a logical person play with an injury and risk his entire career?

The point guard position is deep as fukk in the NBA right now. Lin is average. At least half of the starting point guards in the league are better than him without any argument.

Honestly Lin needs to get as much guaranteed money as possible. I think he will be a good NBA player but remember the dude was about to be out of the league at the start of the year. Get that money now

Basically, I think he's overated and either team is going to get burned paying him. Plus he seems injury proned.

As long as he plays somewhat decent, his team will make a lot of money off him since he has entire countries following him. I think that's the main thing driving his price up so high.

The heat mugged him the whole time he was in . For a rookie player thats crazy they were extra physical with him and no calls , how Many time does Lin get hit with no calls

Because he had so *much* hype around him, thats why the heat played him the way they. more teams will do the samething and he'll be considered an overrated player.
