I don't know how people are comparing Cap America to Superman. Captain America is an underdog story at its core. Superman is a literal Alien with God like powers. Which character you think is going to be more relatable to the public
Anybody can be written to be relatable,or a underdog, all these characters that have all these great powers, yet people can still relate....Is Magneto not a underdog that some people root for just because technically he's powerful enough to destroy the whole world? He's a villain who wants to kill humans and people still feel em.
Captain America might be a underdog, but his goody too shoes,"perfect soldier" who doesn't have a bad bone in his body story line? Not really all that relatable to the average piece of shyt person,or person who is at least tempted to do fukked up things....That's where the comparsion is with superman.
I just think you are right in the fact Captain America was written to have a struggle in his movies and the actor did a good job....Superman was written to have no struggle once he became Superman, and they definitely had plenty of oppurtunities to make him a underdog in that MOS movie, and make him probably more relatable than Cap.
Its ridiculous to say you have to be a human or people cant relate, yall gotta quit with that copout and just admit the shortcomings in the writing of superman....Cap was written for these times and works,Sup writers just stunk up the place.
Maaan Benji the dog and Simba was relatable, but superman cant be?if what your saying is true he would be a failure on every platform....But guess what?its only these last two Superman movies getting all the hate....you could say its unrelatable shyt about almost every comic character on the big screen, ironman aint relatable because he's a billionaire.
Hawkeye standalone coming soon yall, giving the people what they want
